today russell stayed home sick and i was so much more accomplished than usual.
i washed the dishes and took a shower and got dressed and went out and looked at ill fitting shoes and found a spiffy used bookstore on our side of town!
their cookbook section is huge.

i got nick malgieri's great italian desserts
his recipe for genoise is my favorite. it's more like sponge really, a good layering cake.

then i got groceries and came home to feed russell some frozen saag and me my favorite grocery store pizza.
red baron deep dish two supreme singles anyone? mmm tasty. i hate digiorno.

and! i took a picture of our trees and let the dogs in and baked some cookies and took a cookie picture and wandered around on the internet and made some tofu brocolli stir fry over brown rice for dinner and some ginger lemon tea for sick boyfriend and took my vitamins and baked some granola.

crazy.
i wish i could stay home tomorrow too.
i missed looking at plants because i was starving! and had to come home and eat my pizza.
