yesterday meemoo came over for craft day
we listened to music and had ginger lemonade and chocolate cookies
i made this with the end of a ball of mulitcolored handspun and some hot pink mohair while emma made cards and worked on her photo album

feeling kind of spring-y

sparkling ginger lemonade with cranberry and lime

in saucepan over medium heat steep 1 1/2 cup sugar, 1 1/2 cup fresh squeezed or bottled organic lemon juice, 2 inches grated fresh ginger till sugar disolves

pour liquid into 2 quart pitcher, add filtered water to top, chill and serve or follow on as below

fill glass with ice, add a squeeze of fresh lime

(some fresh crushed mint would be tasty too!
or perhaps you're in the mood for a refreshing cocktail?
start with gin or vodka or rum over ice!)

add cranberry juice, lemonade, seltzer water to personal taste

garnish with lime wedges
